Fresno, CA – Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, located Fashion Fair Mall is running a “Fudge for Troops” promotion through July 2011 to benefit the United States Armed Forces.
Beginning July 1, 2010 customers who purchase one pound of fudge in-store will have an additional one pound fudge donated to the US Armed Forces to be added to care packages sent to our service men and women overseas. A national non-profit organization, Central Valley BlueStar Moms is going to aid in the shipment of the fudge overseas, reaching our troops on August. “Our troops give so much everyday; we wanted to give something back, to let them know how grateful we are of all that they do. As a mother with a son in the Air Force I understand and appreciate the hard work and dedication of our troops.” commented Consuelo Avila, owner of the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory store located at 639 East Shaw Ave. Ste. 167, 93710.

I was delighted to discover one of the most popular beverage desserts in Italy..."The AFFOGATO and GELATO ICE CREAM"!!!. I was eating GELATO 2-3 times a day!!!.
AFFOGATO is the Italian word for “DROWNED” and it is a coffee-based beverage and dessert.
I make (at my store) an affogato by pouring a shot of hot espresso over gourmet vanilla yogurt, topped with whipped cream and shaved chocolate.
The bitterness of the espresso is easily taken by the sweetness of the yogurt. It’s really an awesome indulgent experience if you’re craving for something different with your caffeine!!!
CHAMOY APPLES
After tasting the tamarind apple you will no longer be able to eat a regular old caramel apple...(well...mine are delicious!) Chamoy apples are unlike anything you have ever eaten!!! Crisp, fresh Granny Smith apples wrapped in a paste made of tamarind (a sweet and sour fruit pulp), chili powder, sugar and salt. The result is a perfect balance of sweet, sour, salty and spicy!!HOORAY!!!
